About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Catawba, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. You will also conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, authorizing entry and/or exit, and following security-related policies for the location.
• Monitor employee, visitor, and contractor access points, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and unusual conditions.
• Support screening and traffic flow for deliveries, vendors, and vehicles entering and leaving the location, while helping to deter unauthorized removal of property and/or access to restricted areas.
