Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as a driving access control officer, helping manage entry points, verify badges and/or credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this customer-facing role, you will remain visible, conduct routine activity throughout assigned areas, and help to deter incidents while delivering the reliable, people-first service that defines our team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Support access control operations for deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor visits, coordinating with site contacts to confirm authorization and direct traffic flow as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated access areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and communicating security-related issues to site leadership.
