As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in New Albany, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage badge access for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support daily security-related operations with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs, access records, and incident documentation while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
