About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed patrol officer to support a healthcare facility in Garfield Heights, Ohio. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, responds to security-related concerns, and provides welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role is part-time, scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and compliance with site access procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
