About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Cleveland, Ohio. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned healthcare site and allows the employee to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly anchor shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may increase or reduce their hours, with opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The role pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with visitor access and wayfinding, and help ensure adherence to facility policies while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care environments.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
