About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Athens, Georgia. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site on a designated weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform and can build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, while retaining the option to scale back. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The Security Guard provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents, and conducts patrols to help protect the location and its occupants.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations to appropriate personnel, and document incidents according to site-specific procedures.
• Deter unauthorized access and policy violations through visible patrols and professional interaction with visitors, tenants, and staff.
