About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Guard for a truck stop in Taft, California. The position involves monitoring security systems and surveillance for suspicious activity, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, and helping protect people and property. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Wednesday through Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $21.73. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
