About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Guard for a truck stop in Taft, California. The role involves monitoring security systems and surveillance feeds to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, documenting events, responding to incidents, and helping protect people and property. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, for 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $21.73. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
