About The Position

ABM is hiring a Security Guard to provide security coverage in the George Bush Intercontinental Airport area and the Beltway 8/1-45 corridor. The role pays $15.00 per hour, paid weekly. The scheduled shift is Thursday through Monday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with Tuesday and Wednesday off. A specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. This position may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
Must have a valid Texas non-commission (Level II) security license.
Prior experience in customer service or security.

Responsibilities

Monitor and secure assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company protocols.
Direct and assist customers, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
Conduct regular facility patrols to ensure safety and compliance with security procedures.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
Enforce site rules and regulations while maintaining a visible and professional presence.
Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or security manager.
