About The Position

Admiral Security Services is hiring a Security Guard to perform security duties according to contract requirements and site-specific post orders. The position involves access control, enforcing policies, observing and reporting hazards, conducting foot patrols, and communicating incidents to operations management, clients, and other department managers. The work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and may include prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and sitting at a computer.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate and maintain site-specific security programs.
• At least one year of verifiable work experience; one year of military or concierge experience, or an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Control access for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Enforce client and company policies and procedures.
• Observe and report security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building.
• Report pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client, and other Admiral/ADM department managers as appropriate.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
