About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guards for Caterpillar. Security Officers serve and safeguard clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate. They respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• EMT certification.
• Basic Operation Firefighter (BOFF) certification.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
