About The Position

As an unarmed facility security guard in South Bend, Indiana, you will safeguard clients at a logistics location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, reporting security concerns, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. The role is full-time and pays $18.20 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Report security-related concerns and support access control.
