About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time mobile patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting in Raleigh, North Carolina. The unarmed patrol officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The driving role requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9:45 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.46 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following site-specific policies, security procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor flow in accordance with site procedures and healthcare privacy expectations.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and response activities, and escalate concerns to appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel.
