About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Muscatine, Iowa, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
