About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Tempe, Arizona, you will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming, secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The role offers access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access records.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while supporting a professional, orderly environment at the healthcare-related location.
