About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard to safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies, and conducting patrols. The work schedule is Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local law; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
