About The Position

The Part-time Security Guard provides safety and security services to protect residents, visitors, and staff on property. The position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations. The current opening is a casual, as-needed role supporting three Tandem Living campuses, with a night shift at Woodcrest Villa from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays are included.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for visitors, vendors, volunteers, contractors, and others entering campus.
• Remain at the assigned post throughout the scheduled shift.
• Accurately and professionally complete the sign-in process for people entering the building.
• Follow Tandem Living's written policies and procedures.
• Provide visitors with directions to the proper location within the community.
• Identify, report, and respond to concerns or issues involving security breaches, fire safety, resident wellbeing, and related matters.
• Complete regular motorized and/or walking patrols throughout the assigned shift.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and security of residents, staff, and property.
