About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The stated starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Paid orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
