About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location in New York, NY. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and operations. The role requires customer service, clear communication, observation and reporting, and professional responses to incidents and access concerns. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailers, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery activity; verify credentials and direct visitors and drivers according to site requirements.
Document observations, incidents, and irregular activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
