About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Guard for access control at a logistics and distribution site in Union City, Georgia. The role involves serving and safeguarding clients, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control and alarm response, and providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, distribution, parking, loading dock, trailer yard, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site requirements.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
