Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will safeguard clients and help create a welcoming environment by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and responding to alarms. The role includes customer service and communication with tenants, visitors, property personnel, site management, and Allied Universal leadership. The schedule is overnight: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.64 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
