About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard a financial institution in Elgin, Illinois. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.25 per hour. The officer will follow site-specific security procedures and policies, respond to incidents and alarms, conduct patrols, monitor access and visitor activity, and document and communicate relevant observations. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug-screen requirements. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
