About The Position

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Mornings in Fort Madison, Iowa, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team. The position is full-time, pays $18.00 per hour, and has a daytime schedule: Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
Provide customer service to clients.
