About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer to monitor security systems and help identify threats before they escalate. The role is based in Sherman Oaks, California, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The hourly wage is $20.85. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Protect the safety of individuals and property.
