About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in San Francisco, California, you will safeguard the client’s site through routine patrols, access monitoring, incident response, documentation, and customer service. The role involves maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and communicating effectively with employees, visitors, contractors, delivery personnel, site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and client representatives. The schedule is 11:00 AM–7:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Undergo a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply prior to employment.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor site access, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures and documenting activities as required.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
