About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will help safeguard residents, visitors, and clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The role involves working a scheduled mix of daytime and overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
