About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes providing customer service, communicating clearly with visitors and staff, and reporting concerns according to site procedures. The position is full-time and pays $17.51 per hour, with a Monday-through-Friday daytime schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with financial institution procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in reports and shift logs.
