About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard to provide unarmed patrol services at a healthcare facility in Chula Vista, California. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting facility and perimeter patrols, monitoring access points and visitor activity, responding to incidents and emergencies, and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and pays $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to help maintain an orderly environment.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and security concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
