About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring full-time Security Officers in Austin, Texas, at a pay rate of $20.00. Officers safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Hiring is available for all shifts. Uniforms and duty gear are provided, and daily and weekly pay options are available.

The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around businesses and their perimeters. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and work in the elements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to work in the elements.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only; the posting also lists a valid driver's license among the position details.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
