About The Position

As a full-time, unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare and biopharmaceutical location in Frederick, Maryland, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, and clients. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide professional customer service. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.22 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Guard card or license preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
