About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard a financial institution location in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responding to concerns, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout financial institution facilities, including common areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures and report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established escalation protocols.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports.
Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
