Security Guard - Full Time Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a logistics and distribution location in Chantilly, Virginia. The role involves safeguarding the site through routine patrols, access monitoring, a visible security presence, and customer service. Officers follow site-specific procedures and policies, respond to emergencies and incidents, communicate with relevant personnel, and document activity. The scheduled shifts are 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $15.12 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required for the role.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor site access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and potential hazards to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
