Security Guard Full Time Patrol

About The Position

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial services location in Ontario, California, you will safeguard clients and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. The role is full-time and pays $18.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
