About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role is based in Olathe, Kansas, and works on-site Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The position pays $18 per hour, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

The successful candidate will help protect people and property by monitoring surveillance systems, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, patrolling premises, and controlling access to secure areas. The role also involves reviewing security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions and coordinating with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost and offers career growth opportunities. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents and write detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
