About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Channahon, Illinois, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and supporting a secure environment. The role includes providing customer service, communicating clearly, and using a computer or tablet as needed. This is a full-time position paying $20.40 per hour, with a listed schedule of Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including the building exterior, perimeter, parking areas, and access points.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow site procedures, and communicate with appropriate personnel.
Accurately document observations, patrol activities, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
