About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Guard, also referred to in the posting as a Security Ambassador – Tactical. The role is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and involves patrolling sensitive environments, monitoring for suspicious activity, controlling access, responding to incidents and alarms, and helping protect people and property. Physical ability is essential, including standing and walking throughout the shift. The posted schedule is part-time, Saturday and Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $17.00. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
