About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Guards respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around business premises and their perimeters. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. No prior experience is necessary, and the company promotes from within and offers career development opportunities. The stated pay is $24.00 per hour, paid weekly, with benefits.

Requirements

• For unarmed roles, be at least 18 years of age; for armed roles, be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving history.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
