About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Guards respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use problem-solving skills. They conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $17.00 per hour, paid weekly. No experience is necessary, and the company promotes from within and offers career development opportunities. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screening to the extent permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
