About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The role requires close observation, attention to detail, strong concentration, and proficiency with technology. The position is located in Southaven, Mississippi, and has a set full-time schedule: Friday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday and Monday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. A valid driver’s license is required, and applicants must be at least 21 years old. The hourly wage is $17.50. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and career growth opportunities are available. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, as well as a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a state license if one is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
