About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Unarmed Site Patrol in Atlanta, Georgia, to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, and help create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The role includes customer service, communication, site-specific security procedures, and emergency response activities. The position is full-time, scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at $15.37 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and delivery credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
Observe package handling and vehicle traffic areas for security concerns and communicate hazards, operational issues, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
