About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a government human services location in Fontana, California. The role involves safeguarding staff, visitors, and clients while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The officer provides customer service, conducts patrols, monitors access, documents activity, and responds professionally to incidents and emergencies. The position pays $21.49 per hour and follows a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:15 AM to 6:15 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, and report observations.
Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor logs.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Communicate professionally with agency staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel while supporting a respectful environment for people seeking public services.
