About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Patrol Officer for a driving post at a public-facing mall location in Carson, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The schedule is Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may need to be met before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and report security-related concerns.
