About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Rover Driver Security Guard in San Jose, California. The role serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine patrols at assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Wednesday, 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
