About The Position

Walden Security is seeking dedicated, vigilant armed and unarmed Security Officers to protect client facilities, personnel, and visitors while maintaining a welcoming environment. Officers protect industrial and commercial properties from fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Client sites include office buildings, residential properties, distilleries, financial institutions, telecommunications and manufacturing facilities, hospitals, and other locations. Entry-level candidates are welcome, and the company provides training to help employees obtain and maintain a Tennessee security license and earn Security Officer Certification. Applicants must submit a resume to be considered. Candidates must meet the stated driving eligibility criteria, including being at least 25 years old, holding an active driver’s license, and having a relatively clear motor vehicle record. The position pays $17–$21 USD. Flexible schedules and multiple shifts are available, including first, second, third, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 25 years of age.
Active driver’s license and a relatively clear or clean motor vehicle record.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, and safety hazards.
Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control and visitor management.
Provide assistance and directions to staff and visitors.
Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, and security breaches.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and interactions with law enforcement or emergency services.
Inspect premises regularly to identify and address potential security risks.
Protect client industrial or commercial property against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry.
