About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard to support a financial institution location in New York, NY. The role involves unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, lobbies, ATM areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct visitors according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
