About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an entry-level Surveillance Security Guard in Islandia, New York. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and threats before they escalate, in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The guard helps protect people and property by monitoring systems, documenting incidents, responding to threats, conducting patrols, controlling access, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed. Multiple schedules are available. The hourly wage is $18.50. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a New York State security license.
