About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an entry-level Security Guard in Princeton, West Virginia, to safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to incidents and emergencies. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The stated hourly pay rate is $18.67. Standard shifts are 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., and 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. A clean driving record is required. Daily and weekly pay options are available.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have a clean driving record.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
