About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an entry-level Security Guard for sites in Campbell and Santa Clara, California. The role involves observing surroundings, anticipating risks, patrolling environments, and protecting people and property. The schedule is full-time: Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Campbell, and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in Santa Clara. The position pays $20 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and career growth opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Hold a state security license and complete additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
