About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Blythewood, South Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control and badge procedures. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and provide customer service. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay rate is $19.10 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to applicable state and local laws.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns as directed.
Observe and report policy violations, hazards, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues.
