About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for perimeter patrol in Jacksonville, Florida. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role includes routine rounds, communication with visitors and team members, and professional responses to site needs. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.

Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly with visitors and team members and respond professionally to site needs.
